The Albany Hotel has been established and family run for over 30 years. The 70 year old period hotel ideally situated on Clifton Drive holds the essence of the 1930’s in the interior. However, you’ll be glad to know that the “essence” of the 1930’s does not include the original beds! With the ambitious £140,000 refurbishment that has taken place over the past two years, we are continually creating a hotel to be truly proud of.
The Albany Hotel boasts one of the finest locations in Blackpool. Outside the front door is the Pepsi Max Big One and Pleasure Beach. Look to the left and there is the recently renovated New South Promenade, the Irish Sea and in September and October the renowned Blackpool illuminations. To the right is the Pleasure Beach railway station, making the hotel accessible to all guests making the journey to Blackpool by train.
The Albany Hotel is not only accessible by rail, but is very convenient if you are travelling by car. There are 15 car parking spaces on our forecourt and neighbouring streets have unrestricted parking. Blackpool airport is only 5 minutes in a taxi. Blackpool North station and the coach stations are also only a short ride by taxi. There is a tram stop on the promenade opposite for a memorable ride to Blackpool Tower, theatres, shops and other entertainment in the town centre. For the young ones the Sandcastle Waterworld is a short walk. Blackpool Zoo and the Dinosaur Safari Park is a short ride in the car.
The Albany Hotel is open all year, our Christmas and New Year parties are not to be missed. Special deals are on offer for low season and mid-week breaks. To make your reservation please telephone 01253 341518.
